A rapid-cooling compartment for freezer units, built on advanced airflow technology.

DeepFresh is a specialized rapid-cooling compartment designed for modern freezer units and equipped with advanced airflow technology. This compact solution preserves the nutritional value of food by preventing crystallization; it has been developed through engineering tests, air circulation analyses, and user-focused basket ergonomics.
Beyond Freezing: Why Is "Cold" Alone Not Enough? Traditional freezers freeze food slowly, which leads to cell structure damage and nutrient loss. While existing market solutions are typically confined to niche areas like "freezers," there was a lack of an integrated solution that strikes a balance between rapid cooling (for beverages) and healthy freezing (for food) for the everyday user. The core design challenge was to transform the limited volume and airflow data provided by the engineering team into an efficient user experience that maximizes surface contact.
Rapid freezing prevents water inside the food from forming large ice crystals, thereby locking in flavor and vitamins.
Speed = HealthInstead of static cooling, a perforated basket structure that increases the amount of air impinging on the food surface optimizes cooling time by 18%.
Airflow GeometryWhile competitors position this technology as a luxury add-on, we've redefined it as a "functional compartment" that simplifies daily kitchen routines.
Market GapThose who want to consume fresh fruits and vegetables with the same nutritional value even outside their season.
Health-Conscious UsersUsers who need to quickly chill beverages for guests at the last minute and are racing against time.
Social HostsThose who want to safely extend the shelf life of perishable items like fish and meat.
Discerning ConsumersWhen I come home tired during the week, I want the product I take out of the freezer to be as fresh and nutrient-rich as it was on the first day.
Forgetting to chill drinks or the fear of leaving them in the freezer and having the bottle explode.
For Selin, DeepFresh isn't just a compartment; it's a space of trust and a time-saving kitchen assistant.

A half-foldable shelving system — a patented mechanical innovation.

Varioshelf is a half-foldable shelving system that reconfigures the interior space of a refrigerator in seconds. While creating vertical space for bulky items (pots, watermelons, etc.), it maintains its load-bearing capacity thanks to a specially developed rear body reinforcement. Registered with Google Patents, this design combines mechanical strength with ergonomic usability in a single innovation. 🏅 View the patent on Google Patents
One of the biggest complaints from refrigerator users is having to completely disrupt the existing shelf layout to fit a tall pot or a large piece of fruit. A request from the marketing department to "lower the shelf by half" created a serious engineering problem: when the shelf's front supports were removed, the moment force caused by the shift in the center of gravity led to the shelf breaking or coming loose. The design focus was to resolve this structural weakness in collaboration with mechanical engineers and develop a flawless mechanism that allows the user to slide or fold the glass safely.
Simulations revealed that 80% of the load was borne by the rear plastic body. The solution involved reinforcing the internal geometry of the plastic part with a "rib" structure without compromising aesthetics.
Critical Support PointRisks of "derailment" or "finger pinching" during the glass surface's movement were prevented by stoppers and soft-glide channels integrated into the rail system.
Safe MovementUnlike existing market examples, the load distribution method offered by this design was officially patented due to its technical originality.
Patented InnovationUsers complain that when they fully pull out a shelf, smaller items (yogurt, jars, etc.) on that shelf have nowhere to go.
Fear of Space LossThe temporary volume need created by large fruits like watermelons in summer and large serving trays during holidays.
Seasonal FlexibilityA need for a solid mechanical feedback (click sound) to dispel the perception that moving parts are "flimsy."
Trust and DurabilityThe organization of my refrigerator is important to me. Having to move all the shelves just to fit a pot, and then reorganizing everything from scratch, is a waste of time.
Tall pitchers that don't fit under the shelf and having to force the lid shelves to make room for them.
Deniz slides the front section of the shelf back to fit her pot in seconds. Thanks to the patented rear support, she knows the heavy jam jars on the shelf won't tip over.
Foam and glass mockups used to test the folding mechanism and rear support geometry.
